The American Society of Appraisers (the “Society”) is a multi-discipline non-profit international organization of professional appraisers (valuers). The mission of the Society is to foster the public trust of our members and the appraisal profession through compliance with the highest levels of ethical and professional standards. The American Society of Appraisers:

• Helps the public and professionals find an ASA accredited appraiser
• Is the only professional valuation organization that accredits members in every appraisal discipline
• Works to grow the appraisal profession
• Fosters professional excellence in its membership through education, accreditation, publication and other services with an emphasis on professional ethics to protect the public

The Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers (AMEA) is the premier international association of appraisers who specialize in appraising machinery and equipment. The AMEA's mission is to certify and accredit the most qualified capital equipment appraisers in the appraisal industry through promotion of standards of professional appraisal practice, ethical conduct, and market-based experience.

The Industrial Auctioneers Association (IAA) is the world's first and only association comprised solely of industrial machinery and equipment auctioneers. IAA auctioneers combine unparalleled industrial auction experience with the highest ethical and professional standards.

The Investment Recovery Association helps fulfill an important role by bringing people together from disparate industries...all focused on sharing best IR practices and improving the knowledge and skills necessary to properly perform the wide-ranging responsibilities required of investment recovery practitioners. They also provide important networking opportunities for IR professionals. Corporate IR managers share ideas with others who also work on the 'corporate side' of the equation, or meet with the many providers of specialized services often required in the valuation or disposition of surplus. All with the goal to help achieve the highest-possible value from otherwise idle assets that can be turned into bottom-line income or re-utilized somewhere else in the organization.

MDNA is an international, nonprofit trade association dedicated to the promotion of the used machinery industry. It was established to assure buyers of the integrity and reliability of hundreds of used machinery dealers from around the world that are members of our association. The foundation of the MDNA is our Code of Ethics. As a condition of membership, MDNA members agree to abide, unequivocally, by the terms of the Code, and renew this pledge annually. The Code is policed by the association's membership.

The National Auctioneers Association (NAA) is the world's largest professional association dedicated to professional auctioneers. The NAA was built by auctioneers, for auctioneers. Its mission is to promote the professionalism of auctioneers and auctions through education and technology. Members of the NAA abide by a strict Code of Ethics and are connected with an extensive network of professional auctioneers. The National Auctioneers Association will unify and lead the auction and competitive bidding industries so they will be increasingly utilized as the preferred method of sale for personal and real property in all segments of the economy.

The Turnaround Management Association (TMA) is the only international non-profit association dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management. TMA members are a professional community of turnaround and corporate renewal professionals who share a common interest in strengthening the economy through the restoration of corporate value. They include: All TMA members are expected to sign a Code of Ethics each year specifying high standards of professionalism, integrity, and competence.
