• Viewing:
  The sale will be on view on Monday 2nd and Tuesday 3rd September 2002 from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day and on the morning of both sale days from 9:00am, with the exception of goods and equipment located at the Disaster Recovery site (see below), attendees will require a pre-printed catalogue price £20 for admittance (admits 2)
  
• Bags & Briefcases:
  Please note no bags or briefcases will be allowed on site.
  
• Buyers Premium:
  The purchaser will pay a buyer’s premium of 10% on the hammer price plus VAT (11.75% inc). The premium is not negotiable and will be charged to all purchasers. The proceeds of which will be passed on to our client to defray the costs of sale.
  N.B. Webcast purchasers will be subject to an additional premium of 2% + VAT (2.35% inc) – VAT will not be refunded on the buyers premium under any circumstances.

• Removal of Goods
  
  1. Marco Polo House:
     All lots must be removed from the premises without fail by 4:30pm, Friday 4th October 2002. Lots remaining on site after this date will be forfeited. Please see note on use reserved lots.
     The premises will be open for collection from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Restrictions on loading apply and an appointment system will be operated for purchasers of large quantities of furniture and equipment and goods located in the Broadcast Suite, Computer and Comms Rooms .
     Purchasers are strongly recommended to contact Wyles Hardy & Co. to make an appointment prior to attending. Failure to do so may cause significant delay.
     Method Statements: Where indicated by an asterisk by the lot number, purchasers will be required to provide a method statement prior to removal being undertaken. Evidence of competency, insurance must be provided. The posting of a bond may also be required at the auctioneers discretion.
     
  2. Disaster Recovery Centre:

     Goods and equipment located at this facility are subject to the following arrangements regarding viewing, removal and collection
     The Operators of the Disaster Recovery Centre Facility have imposed the following conditions in respect of the goods located at this site.
     Viewing by physical inspection will not be permitted – a CD/Video loop of the Site has been prepared and is available on request, a still photograph of each lot is available on the Dovebid Inc. Web Site at www.Go-Dove.com.
     De-Installation and Removal: Will be carried out by Sun Gard Availability Services nominated Specialist Engineers Modus Technology Ltd visit www.modusgroup.com for further details.
     All lots located at this Site will be de-installed and delivered to the ground floor for collection by appointment only.
     Collection of all lots at this Site will be available from week commencing 16th September 2002 and will conclude on Friday 27th September 2002 (excluding week-ends).
     Please note: All communication cabinets at this location can ONLY be collected on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th September 2002.
     No charge will be levied for the de-installation and delivery to the ground floor at this location, however purchasers acknowledge that Wyles Hardy & Co. Ltd and/or Dovebid Inc. shall not be liable whatsoever and make no warranties in respect of the performance of this service.
  
  
• Use Reserved Lots:
  Some lots are offered subject to availability (i.e. use reserved) as indicated in the catalogue. Please contact the Auctioneers to ensure availability prior to travelling.
  
• Value Added Tax:
  All lots are sold exclusive of V.A.T. which will be added to the purchasers sale accounts at the rate of 17.5%
  Non E.C. Purchasers: VAT will betailing the purchasers and confirming their export outside the E.C., the VAT will be refunded. hin 30 days of the date of purchase.
  E.C. Purchaser: For interstate transferroof that the interstate transfer has taken place, the purchaser at the time of registration advised that purchases would be the subject of an interstate transfer and ensured that their local VAT registration details would be recorded on the invoice, the VAT will be refunded. VAT will not be refunded on the buyers premium, nor where the documentary evidence of the interstate transfer taking place is not received within 30 days of the date of purchase.
  
• Insurance of Lots:
  The purchaser is at risk from the fall of the hammer and is advised to obtain immediate and adequate insurance.
  
• Non Transfer of Lots:
  No lots may be transferred between purchasers, the auctioneers will accept payment only from and permit removal of lots by the purchaser to whom the lot was knocked down
  
• Refreshments:
  The sale will continue throughout each day without a break; consequently light refreshments will be available on both sale days
  
• Smoking
  Marco Polo House is a totally smoke free building. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the building.
  
• Software:
  All software of whatever form, either resident on hard disc drives or embedded is excluded from any lots sold.

The ITV Digital building in Queenstown Road, Battersea is of modern construction and incorporates many safety systems, but there are a number of simple procedures which we have introduced to make your time with us a safe and pleasant experience and these are detailed below:
There is NO SMOKING throughout the building including the restaurant area
On entry to the viewing areas you will be asked to sign in. This lets us know who is in the building should an emergency arise.
When registering for your bidding paddle, bid numbers from the mobile office in the car park, you will be asked to confirm the number of people in your party. This lets us know the number of people in the auction room.
Fire exits must be kept clear of obstruction.
